Wayne Smith said "This is a first class course and would only recommend it to players with a handicap of scratch to 12 max, to get the best from it.... this course is one of my top two ... Getting to the course was very easy by taxi. We stayed in the centre of the city and it only took 15 minutes and cost 20 Euro's.
The staff in the pro shop were warm and friendly and seemed really happy to get a chance to use their English.
Driving range is OK, nothing amazing 1 Euro for 36 balls. The practice greens are exactly the same as the ones out on the course, so you get a good feel before you go out.
The front 9 holes all favor the player who can draw the ball of the tee except the par 3's. You need to be long off the tee and you must avoid the rough which is easier said than done. The fairways are very narrow and do not give you much to aim at from the tee. Warning if you hit your ball in the rough only a excellent player stands any chance of getting to the green in regulation.
The greens are in great condition, they are very receptive and putt true and are very fast.
The 18th is a master peace of course design, and when you look down the hole and try and plan your shot you will not have a clue where to hit it. But I would say hit it down the right aim for the last bunker. You will have a great lie and line into the green.
My only dislikes of the course were bunkers around the greens were poor, fairway ones were great and very easy to play out of.
My only other problem were the flag poles and flags, the flag poles were dark yellow and the flags were green and yellow making it relly tough to see them. So you could never gage the distance I was either just short or over the back.
I play off 8.5 and played off the back tee's were the course becomes a par 73 and hit a 86 which I was chuffed to bits with.
So I say, if you think you are good player and can hit the ball 300 yards into the middle of the fair way ever time. And hit every green in regulation then putt well on all 18 holes you will do OK, it is the rough which makes it tough.
Go and play this course £63 is excellent value for money, I will go back and play this course again.
