Edwin Bussey said: "This was my second visit. I was impressed on the first trip and even more so on my second. In my view it was quite faultless. I was utterly amazed to hear one German gentleman complaining to Reception about the size of the rooms and how the Hotel did not live up to its four star rating. What utter nonsense (I could use a stronger phrase!!). They must have amazing four star hotels in Germany in that case but I think that some people like to complain simply to prove how "cool" they are. I was equally, and pleasantly, surprised to witness the Receptionist deal with this totally unwarranted complaint pleasantly, with a smile on her face and with the utmost politeness. Her professionalism seemed to embody the whole concept of the Hotel and Golf Complex.
On this latest trip I was one of a party of 43 people and without exception everybody had only the most complimentary remarks to make about the Hotel, the Venue, the Golf Course and, particularly about the superb service we received."

Jeremy Horn said "Value for money the whole package is very good. This is our fourth trip. It is now time for a change. The hotel seems to be getting to a stage where it needs some refubishment. The food on the whole was OK but 4 star quality not really. The location is fantastic and the golf course on hand makes it an ideal cheap winter golfing break and somewhere we will hopefully return to next year."

Paul Burr said "A very nice hotel, with the only negative being its lack of suitable catering for vegetarian guests."

TS Dallaghan said "The hotel and staff were very good the lack of facilities to make a tea/coffee in the morning was unfortunate. The food quality was generally very good but could not bring myself to try sprouts and cauliflower for breakfast!"

Ilona Collinson said: Had a great holiday. Fantastic food, buffet style with food to suit everyone. Good golf, however, only 18 holes open but the courses were in very good condition and challenging. Would definitely go back again.

David Neilson said "Perhaps I am a bit biased as I was unwell for a period of my stay but the staff were so helpful and cosiderate. I spoke with the manageress before departing and made her aware of this, would certainly stay here again pity I was unable to make use of indoor pool area ,sauna, Jaccuzi etc."

Anonymous said "My partner and I stayed at the Islantilla Golf Resort in June 2006. We both enjoyed the golf and the hotel very much. The only downside to our visit was that there was only 18 of the 27 holes available to play and there was no entertainment in the hotel at night. The resort itself is very Spanish which is good for practising the language and is quite a walk from the hotel. That said I would certainly go back in future."

Edwin Bussey said: "Four of us spent the week before Christmas '06 here. The Hotel and the Locality was very quiet which we expected. Apart from that everything (even the weather) was perfect. We had a truly wonderful week and the excellent 27 hole golf course was practically empty apart from us. With so few guests at that time of year, the staff might have been forgiven had they been a little "couldn't care less". BUT that was never the case. They were amazingly friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our only complaint might have been that they did not invite us to their staff Christmas party!! However, even there I think we would have been welcome had we really wanted to go!!! I can't wait to visit again and happily give them top marks."
